For the past 8 months, we’ve been building the Web3 social metaverse by connecting Web3 with social, gaming and education in one lightweight virtual world that’s accessible to everybody.

Early on in our development, we built an acclaimed demo with over 2000 active users. You could:

We won “Best DeFi Project on Polygon” at HackFS, as well as winning a prize for our Aave Bank.. with Stani himself joining our Discord to congratulate us on our efforts!

At NFT Vision Hack, we were a winner on the Rarible track for our gamified NFT marketplace inside the Atlantis World metaverse.

Since then, we’ve:

Turned down $10M from prominent investors to a build a community funded and owned public good.
Received 6000+ community contributors to our Gitcoin grant (around $100k USD), which we’ll use to build a Gitcoin City and enable governance, live public goods funding and hackathons in the metaverse!
Received grants from Web3 leaders; ie Polygon, Yearn, Balancer, 1inch, Perpetual Protocol, Balancer, POAP, PoolTogether, MetaCartel, HoneyDAO, mStable and many more TBA right after the sale (including major blockchain networks, NFT communties and DeFi protocols)!!
Grown ecosystem partner outreach from 0 to 15M (many of whom are TBA!) and grown our own community to 30k users across socials.

We’re launching the Atlantis World Alpha Sale to introduce governance themes, social clubs and fun airdrops (starting with in-game wearables) to our community of Founding Atlanteans!

The future of Atlantis World is bright and expansive, and will feature anything from upgraded social features (spatial video/audio calling), virtual events, token-gated clubhouses, thousands of Web3 integrations (from DeFi banks to NFT marketplaces and DAO tooling/voting), Learn2Earn Web3 onboarding quests (where users will earn tokens to use Web3 apps in gamified way across different chains and ecosystems, guided through the process by in-game NPCs), to MMORPG and P2E elements and even a carbon capturing, biodiverse virtual forest powered by Toucan Protocol.

In the public sale (starting Jan 23 @ 20:22 UTC), the most adventurous travellers are invited to mint up to 3/9999 Magical Keys per wallet and follow a robed Atlantean deep within the crystal cave to reveal and claim their Founding Atlantean scroll.

1 Magical Key = 0.22 WETH (wrapped Ether on Polygon / Matic.)

The sale will take place on Polygon from the official atlantis.world website. You’ll need to bridge ETH from Ethereum to WETH on Matic, you can find out exactly how here! Some users might prefer to acquire WETH on Polygon via an exchange. Just ensure that you’re able to withdraw that to a Metamask wallet that supports the Polygon network. You’ll also need MATIC to pay gas fees.

If you’re connecting to the Polygon network for the first time on your Metamask wallet, visit chainlist.org and search “Polygon Mainnet” to easily do so!

Some users have had minor difficulty interacting with our user interface, if you have trouble accepting terms and conditions please try adjusting your zoom, disabling ad blockers and join our Discord for support if the problem persists. Please also make sure to use a Metamask wallet to take part in the sale, do not use an exchange or any other wallet to participate!

Please ensure to hard refresh atlantis.world, to avoid caching an outdated version of the UI and missing out on the sale launch!

Please ensure to read this guide, since the London hard fork introduced a new EIP that modifies how gas estimation and costs work for transactions on Polygon.

Users that acquire a Magical Key in the sale can use that to unlock the secrets of Atlantis and become Founding Atlanteans… by burning their key to reveal and claim Founding Atlantean scrolls at atlantis.world!

Founding Atlanteans will need to follow the robed Atlantean into the crystal cave, sacrifice their key and claim the scroll in order to:

Gain access to the Great Citadel, a palace at the centre of discourse, experimentation and iterative improvements that will shape the ecosystem right after our Alpha launch. The Great Citadel will become the home of the AtlanteanDAO, where we’ll slowly introduce governance themes over time for community experimentation. All Founding Atlanteans will be ordained as the first wave of AtlanteanDAO members!
Join 1/4 guilds / social clubs (💧 Aqua, 🌎 Terra, 🌪️ Aer, 🔥 Ignis) via a randomly assigned NFT meta-data property viewable on Opensea… think Hogwarts sorting hat, Web3 style! Each guild will be like a social club with its own token-gated spaces, tasked with creating community missions and events.
Receive a Sacred Robe airdrop relative to their guild membership which can be used as an in-game wearable right after Alpha launch. News on the airdrop is coming right after the sale, on our community call in Discord on Jan 27. There will be a series of airdrops in future for Founding Atlanteans.
Get pre-launch access to the Alpha (likely end of Jan — early Feb).
