Avalanche Foundation supports Atlantis World with a grant to build a home for the Avalanche ecosystem in the metaverse! ❄️
We’re excited to annouce that the Avalanche Foundation has supported Atlantis World with a grant to build a home, hub and showcase for the Avalanche ecosystem in the metaverse!
We’ve worked closely with Avalanche over the last few months to design and build an Avalanche HQ inside of Atlantis World. Here, new users will be easily onboarded into the Avalanche ecosystem, and use the easy tool we’ve built for instantly connecting to the Avalanche Main Network inside of their Web3 wallet for the first time!
Once users have been onboarded into the ecosystem, they’ll complete quests and be guided through the process of using Avalanche native apps in a totally gamified way. So far, we’ve already been working closely with some of the leading communities and projects on Avalanche! Trader Joe, Platypus, Yield Yak and Float already have their custom presence and app integration launching soon within Atlantis World, and other apps like Aave are also running on Avalanche in-game!
Beyond using the application itself, Avalanche native communities will also be able to leverage their branded clubhouses within Atlantis World to host social events, like community calls, voice chats and even vote in some DAOs!
In future, we’ll enable users to earn incentives such as reputational loot / NFTs like wearables, game items and perhaps even ERC20 tokens and consumable in-game super powers!
About Atlantis World
We’re currently building Atlantis World Alpha with the first iterations already live (token-gated) and tested by our community. It will feature over 25+ deeply integrated Web3 applications and social clubhouses across 9 different blockchains with the strongest communities in Web3. Users can have voice chats (with/without token gating) and vote in DAOs in-game, as well as deposit into DeFi, trade assets on DEXs, trade NFTs on marketplaces, play mini-games, view their NFT holdings as a smart inventory, play music using Audius and attend different community social events.
Last year, we had 2k+ active users on our demo version and 7k+ sign-ups for the newer version, and have since built an incredibly strong ecosystem partner network and made vast improvements to our core product and vision!
Atlantis World has never taken a single dollar in private investment, scaling the team whilst building product fully bootstrapped with grants and revenue. We’re a community first project, with 8k+ Discord community where we host regular calls and podcasts, and astonishing 7k+ contributors to our Gitcoin grant!
